A Reflection from the Curator

This website is the culmination of everything I've learned in Web Art and Design over the fall 2025 semester, but also my hobby of 17 years, playing and collecting games. The idea behind the website stemmed from the notion that video games are an underappreciated art form, at least when compared to music and film. As I thought about the content I wanted for this website, I realized I wanted to discuss my favorite games and what they mean to me. This in turn made the website unique from what a hypothetical jury curated video game hall of fame would have in it, hence the addition of the "curated by" subtitle. The creation of this website was a long grueling process, from learning how simply scroll operates to positioning the images just right and creating 70 cards, which are all viewable below. The amount of time I spent making this is absurd, however I am extremely happy with how it turned out.
